Planning Applications & Building Regulations
With years of experience in the industry, we know all the regulations and legalities and can guide you through the process of planning applications and building regulations, or we can manage the whole procedure for you with our complete turnkey service.
Exterior Cladding Options
With a wide range of cladding options to choose from, you can select an aesthetically pleasing option to help your portable school building look as if it’s always been there. With different timber options at various price points, brick slip cladding – to match your traditional main building – or Clad-ex for a new portable building, our cladding options keep your building energy-efficient.
Classroom Manufacturing, Transport & Installation
All of our temporary buildings for schools are manufactured offsite and then transported and installed on your site with the shortest possible lead time. As our modular school buildings are portable, they can also be relocated and reassembled if needed – meeting the evolving needs of the educational establishment.
Groundworks
All of the foundation preparation, installation of mains services, ducting and drainage will be taken care of by our skilled engineers, giving you peace of mind that it will be professionally installed and fully compliant.
Our Process
Step 01 – Design Phase
The first step is when we work with you to create the design of the modular building that you’re looking for and the production of a quote. After this, we visit your site to check for any access issues.
Step 02 – Planning and Compliance
The next step is to apply for a planning application, which you can do yourself or take advantage of our turnkey service in which we do the paperwork for you. This can take 8 – 12 weeks to be approved and then a building regulation application will be applied for.
Step 03 – Groundworks and Manufacture
While the building is being manufactured offsite, the groundwork to prepare the area can begin on your site, including mains services, ducting and drainage. By running both processes simultaneously, a large amount of time is saved with disruptions kept to a minimum.
Step 04 – Installation
At this point in the process, your building is delivered to your site along with all the equipment and engineers needed for a speedy installation. The exterior and interior fittings are completed.
Step 05 – Snagging and Handover
Snagging checks are carried out and any identified issues are resolved, at which point the keys and all building certificates are handed over to you – and your new modular school building is ready to be used.
